Here’s how we can schedule a recurring activity to remind ourselves to touch base with a customer at least once a month.

First, find your customer in GoldMine.

Next choose Schedule | Next Action.

Then enter the following information in the window.

• Reference Line: Follow-Up If Not Heard From
• Date: First date of follow up
• Time: A (High Priority)

Next we’re going to set the duration of the vacation. Click the Recurring tab. The Start Date should be set already. Choose the appropriate End Date, or no end date, and for frequency choose Monthly.  I chose to schedule it on the first, skipping weekends.

Click Schedule and you’re all set!  This activity will show up on your Calendar in the un-timed area, on the contact’s pending tab, and on your Activity List.
